BUYING & MERCHANDISING

The Buying & Merchandising Module was within the first year of univeristy. In this project the aim was to create a competitive shop report for Asda George, a range plan and critical paths.Throughout this module the key functions in buying and merchandising were learnt and how different retail formats operate as shown through the competitive shop report. 

Working with critical paths allowed communication of the key functions and planning methods which are used in Buying and Merchandising and allowed me to become confident using Excel. The range plan allowed the product and the target consumer to be understood.
