FINAL MAJOR PROJECT

This project followed on from the idea behind Dissertation. The concept was to create a retail concept store. This retailer will stock independent designers mainly from the UK as well as upcoming artists to sell their art as well as curate the space. Every month the theme for the store will change and therefore allowing new art and new designers to be presented and sold. This frequent change will create a reason for the customer to return and to find something new. The reason behind this concept is to create a space for the discovery of independent designers and artists that consumers may not have come across before.

A full business plan was produced to explain the concept including the consumer, market and the financials. A 360 degree brand exploration is included which incorporates the brand guidelines, the communication and marketing as well as a 12 month plan of the themes for the artists and designers in store. To aid with these two booklets a research booklet and a Lookbook was designed. Selected pages from these outcomes are shown in the images above.

This module allowed me to research and synthesise the findings to be able to justify throughout the Business plan and 360 Brand Exploration.
